Now I just wanted to throw it back to the late 80's early-mid 90's influential punk/post hardcore band Jawbreaker.
1) Save Your Generation - If anything this song should have been the band's 1st major single on a major label.
2) Boxcar - alluding to Kerouac and making fun of the people who refused to put them in the punk genre makes this simple song all too appealing.
3) Want - The first track on the first album is my personal favorite.
4) Fireman- Great song, great lyrics, great sound layering, bad lead off single
5) Chesterfield King- I found a pack of these one day and it made me happy.

1) The Other Room- the epitome of what a NYC bar can be (and they do have an NYC location), the Other Room boasts a dim, cool atmosphere for the modern hipster
2) The Brig- Tuesday's are jazz night, nuff said
3) Father's Office- solid burgers and extensive beer list
4) Prince of Whales- One of my favorite dive bars
5) The Tavern, El Segundo- Although very close to college bar Harry O's, this bar always seems to attract the cool people
